A native of Colombia, Nathalia moved to the US to attend the Berklee College of Music and later began her career as a music therapist and early childhood music educator. Since 2012, she has recorded and released five children’s albums, which were all co-produced and performed by Grammy award winners.
Monica Zepeda is a third-generation Mexican American from Southern California who lives by the beach with her husband and their unbelievably cute cats. She earned an MFA in playwriting before working in the entertainment industry.
Zeke Peña is a Xicano storyteller and cartoonist from El Paso, TX. He received several awards for his book illustrations in My Papi Has a Motorcycle (Kokila, 2019) and Photographic: The Life of Graciela Iturbide (Getty Publications, 2017).
Daniel Acosta’s fiction has appeared in Nuestro and Lowrider magazines, in Homenaje a la Ciudad de Los Angeles, an anthology of Latino writing celebrating the bicentennial of the city of Los Angeles, and in the Fall, 2014 and Fall, 2016 Issues of Label Me Latina/o.
