Celebrate Pride with your Queer Asian Family. The 3rd annual Pride celebration at Chinatown Branch Library, Asian Mental Health Project, and Queer Asian Social Club is proud to present It's Reading...Rainbow!

​An inclusive event for folks of all ages and sides of the spectrum—from confidently queer to shyly questioning— It's Reading...Rainbow! aims to celebrate QTBIPOC community and voices. Featuring authors, drag storytelling, rainbow pickling, and community resources, this is the wholesome Pride event you’ve been waiting for all year long. We can’t wait to see you soon!
 

Programming

  • ​12 noon  - Event Begins
  • 12:05 p.m. - Drag Storytime with Aiana Shaw
  • 1 p.m. - Rainbow Pickling Workshop with Gu Grocery 
  • ​2 p.m. - Juneteenth Lecture with Dr. Larry Hygh (Queer History of Los Angeles)

Throughout the Day
