Description:
This 1970 slapstick comedy takes place during the early years of the Soviet Union. It is an adaptation of a 1928 satirical novel of the same name about a hunt for jewels hidden in dining chairs from the Russian Revolution. An aristocrat and a con man both learn of the treasure and attempt to locate the loot before the other.
