Description:

Acompaña a Yunior en una aventura única: un viaje lleno de música e historias que te llevarán a conocer el son jarocho y su trascendencia en Los Angeles. Aprende también sobre el oficio del lutier con una demostración de cómo se construye una jarana, la guitarra en el son Jarocho.

Este evento es parte del día virtual para las escuelas de Los Angeles Libros Festival y será ransmitido en vivo por YouTube.

Join Yunior on a unique adventure, a trip full of music and stories that will take you on a journey to understand Jarocho music and its importance in Los Angeles. We will also learn about the role of the person who repairs musical instruments with strings, a luthier with a demonstration on how one constructs a jarana, a guitar used for Jarocho music.

The Library Foundation is a non-profit organization that raises funds for Library enhancement programs such as adult and early literacy, children and teen reading clubs, technology, and cultural programs.
