Do you know that the library has many online resources if you are thinking about becoming a vegetarian or vegan? You will be able to find a great variety of e-books, e-magazines, e-audiobooks and blogs or articles that will help you make the transition.

Studies have shown that making the switch to a vegan or vegetarian lifestyle is an excellent solution to live a healthier life. Plant-based diets are known for being rich in specific nutrients, aiding in weight loss, lowering blood sugar levels, improving kidney function, protecting against certain cancers, lowering the risk of heart disease and reducing pain from arthritis.

Veganism and vegetarianism have become mainstream in recent years, and it's become a lifestyle alternative, both for ethical, health, and environmental reasons. For many folks, adapting to a plant-based diet can be difficult and may require a lot of discipline, but in the end, it can be very beneficial to one's health and in the long run, the environment and our planet.
