Description:
The Sherman Oaks Friends of the Library presents "The World's Wild Places: The Australian Outback."
The Australian Outback comprises over two million square miles of the continent. It's arid, with soil that looks like the surface of Mars. You might think there's nothing there, but it's teeming with a variety of flora and fauna. There are towns that are built underground, camels running wild in the desert, and even an American satellite base most people know nothing about.
Join Lee Rubinstein on Zoom for a look into the Outback as we discover all this and more.
This event is sponsored by Sherman Oaks Friends of the Library.
