Description:

Join us for a special pop-up art class led by the local non-profit Venice Arts, where you can create your very own zine-sized comic story! Learn the craft of storytelling through various comic art forms and share your work with the Venice Library community. You’ll have the opportunity to explore specially selected zines from the Venice Library collection that feature Latino voices for inspiration. All supplies will be provided, and no experience is necessary.

This program is recommended for ages 11-18.

Join a “Friends” group. There is a “Friends of the Library” group for most branch libraries and departments of the Central Library. Join the Library Foundation of Los Angeles. The Library Foundation is a non-profit organization that raises funds for Library enhancement programs such as adult and early literacy, children and teen reading clubs, technology, and cultural programs.
