Join us for the next gathering of the Sci Fi Story Club! We'll be discussing Chinelo Onwalu's short story "What the Dead Man Said," originally published in Slate.com's online series Future Tense Fiction and reprinted in The Best of World SF, Volume 1.
Onwalu imagines the interplay between climate change, migration, and family secrets in a future Nigeria with a fully partitioned Biafran state. She is the non-fiction editor of Anathema Magazine and co-founder of Omenana, a magazine of African speculative fiction, and the former chief spokesperson for the African Speculative Fiction Society.
