Join us for a celebration of independent voices and the Sawtelle Neighborhood. At this hands-on workshop, you will learn how to make your own zine while also learning about the Sawtelle neighborhood. While the workshop is open to anyone interested in making zines, this special workshop will highlight the rich history and local community of the Sawtelle neighborhood. We welcome people to bring photos and stories about their experiences in the community. Maybe it's your favorite restaurant on Sawtelle; maybe it is a story about growing up in the neighborhood; maybe it is pulling off your first Ollie at the Courthouse. At the end of this collaborative workshop, you will have the opportunity to add your zine to our Library collection.
