Description:

Create your own tabletop Zen gardens! Combine creativity and the life skills of finding balance. Decorate a garden with a wooden lacquer tray, sands of various colors, river stones and shells, and bamboo bridges. Make your own little rakes and mini tools for grooming. All materials are provided, and patrons take home their creations.

Limited to 15 participants.

Join a “Friends” group. There is a “Friends of the Library” group for most branch libraries and departments of the Central Library. Join the Library Foundation of Los Angeles. The Library Foundation is a non-profit organization that raises funds for Library enhancement programs such as adult and early literacy, children and teen reading clubs, technology, and cultural programs.
