Council District 13 has partnered with the Hollywood Library to bring community and social services to Ivar Ave. Organizations such as The People Concern, Circle, CalFresh, and Heart will be on site to assist Angelenos with ticket expungement, record replacement, and food insecurity. Project WeHope will provide mobile showers and hygiene kits to interested attendees. The Los Angeles Public Defenders will also join us in donating legal aid. Additionally, we welcome social workers and community service representatives from the Library. The entire block of Ivar Ave between Hollywood Blvd and Selma Ave will be closed to traffic during the resource fair. This full spectrum event is our most comprehensive and will not be missed.

Join a “Friends” group. There is a “Friends of the Library” group for most branch libraries and departments of the Central Library. Join the Library Foundation of Los Angeles. The Library Foundation is a non-profit organization that raises funds for Library enhancement programs such as adult and early literacy, children and teen reading clubs, technology, and cultural programs.
