To enter your dog in the parade please register by no later than 8/5/2024.

Description:

Calling all friendly Wilshire dogs! Join us for a dog parade through and around the library. If you don't have a dog that's okay too! Please come view the parade and help us vote on the best dogs in show.

The parade will include a contest for Best Dressed, Best Trick, Creative Grooming, Largest Dog, the Smallest Dog, Most Spoiled, Best Listener, and Fan Favorite, and will be judged by the community. Prizes include pet store gift cards, treats and a framed photo of your dog in the library.

The parade will conclude with a storytime outside the library, on the lawn, by the flagpole. We'll have areas for petting the dogs that like being pet, snacks for dogs and their humans, water for everyone, music and photo opportunities.

Join the Library Foundation of Los Angeles. The Library Foundation is a non-profit organization that raises funds for Library enhancement programs such as adult and early literacy, children and teen reading clubs, technology, and cultural programs.
