Description:

Viva la cultura! The Donald Bruce Kaufman - Brentwood Library welcomes Neiya Arts for a combined workshop and performance of baile folklórico. Attendants will learn about dance, dance style, region, state, country, history, influence, and music, all with an added contemporary flair.  

Neiya Arts is committed to rescue, preserve, and demonstrate Mexican culture and its traditions through dance, music, wardrobe, art, crafts, storytelling, and writing. Neiya Arts has developed a unique style of culturally rooted folk dance and added a twist of Contemporary and Modern.

The Library Foundation is a non-profit organization that raises funds for Library enhancement programs such as adult and early literacy, children and teen reading clubs, technology, and cultural programs.
