Description:
Hojalata—or the art of embossing tin—is one that you’ll see decorating homes, shops, and trees all throughout Mexico. These creations are fun and meditative to create.
A single hanging art piece can be created in anywhere from 10-45 minutes, depending on the crafter’s vision. We’ll provide all the tools & a display of inspirational ideas, as well as templates to follow for some favorite designs. Lastly, we’ll have crafters hang their finished pieces from twine so that it’s ready to display.
Refreshments will be provided by the Friends of the Fairfax Branch Library.
