Join the Library's Summer Reading Challenge: Postmarked from L.A.! Sign up to receive exciting prizes such as pool passes, giveaway books, and mini pouches. Everyone who registers on June 6th will also receive a token for a complimentary $1.00 book from our sale. At 11:00 a.m., we will host a special themed storytime in the Children's area, featuring postal-themed stories and books by Dan Santat, our featured illustrator for "Summer with the Library 2026." Kids and teens can also participate in postcard crafting activities.

Don't miss the Friends of Venice Library Book Sale, where you can explore a wide selection of books, CDs, and DVDs! Discover hidden treasures, including vintage books, art, coffee table books, cookbooks, craft and gardening manuals, puzzles, and games. We accept payment only via cash, check, Zelle, or PayPal (credit cards are not accepted). All proceeds support programming and collection development at the Venice Branch Library.

Friends of Venice Library members enjoy early access starting at 9:00 a.m. Anyone can join or renew their annual membership at the double doors.
