Join us for the next gathering of our monthly Sci Fi Story Club! We'll be discussing Adam Garnet Jones' short story "History of the New World," from the collection Love After the End: An Anthology of Two-Spirit & Indigiqueer Speculative Fiction. As the future climate apocalypse deepens, an unspoiled Earth-like planet is found, and nations urge their people to emigrate there before it's too late. Native people are conflicted about whether to leave Earth or stay, especially when intelligent mammals are discovered in the new planet's oceans, transmitting a cryptic message.
