Join us on the second and fourth Saturday of every month for a fun and inspiring art-themed program! Did you know that most of the cheap, fast fashion and novelty shirts sold in the United States end up in massive waste piles in overseas countries like Ghana? Instead of donating your old shirts to the thrift store, where they end up being shipped to other countries to become trash, bring them to the library and learn how to give them a second life. We will cut shirts into strips and weave them into fabric sheets that you can then turn into bags, pillows, or beautiful art!
