Join us in welcoming children’s author, Adalgisa Nico who will be reading from her book, Fish in the Desert: The Untold Story of the Death Valley Pupfish, the first installment in the Bringing National Parks to Life picture book series. Adalgisa "Gisa" loves National Parks and their junior ranger programs and has been an educator for over 25 years.
Get ready to embark on a captivating journey with Adele as she discovers the incredible resilience of pupfish, the tiny creatures that thrive in the scorching heat of Death Valley National Park. This story tells the tale of a young girl's journey as she deals with personal conflict by finding comfort and wisdom from her adventures with wildlife.
Those attending the program will have the opportunity to take home a copy of Fish in the Desert.
