Description:

Harking back to the days before recordings, when arrangements of grand works could be enjoyed at home, the Montreal-based Trio Fibonacci - violinist Julie-Anne Derome, cellist Gabriel Prynn, and pianist Maxim Shatalkin - brings us Beethoven's iconic Fifth Symphony in a vibrant adaptation for piano trio. Their program also includes Smetana's Piano Trio in G Minor, celebrated for its lyrical beauty and rich Czech musical character.

All Saturday concerts are held in the reading room of the Westwood Library while the library is open to the public.

A heartfelt thanks go to our co-sponsors The Friends of Westwood Branch Library, Los Angeles Musical Salon, the Rosalind and Arthur Gilbert Foundation, Westwood Neighborhood Council, North Westwood Neighborhood Council, Belmont Village Senior Living, Westwood Homeowners Association, Calligraphy Westwood Village, Westwood Village Rotary Club, and the Opera Buffs.
