Description:

This workshop provides high school students with a comprehensive approach to researching colleges and creating a balanced college list. By considering factors such as academic fit, campus culture, financial aid, and admissions competitiveness, students will leave with the tools needed to develop a strategic and well-rounded list that matches their goals, strengths, and personal preferences.

Join a “Friends” group. There is a “Friends of the Library” group for most branch libraries and departments of the Central Library. Join the Library Foundation of Los Angeles. The Library Foundation is a non-profit organization that raises funds for Library enhancement programs such as adult and early literacy, children and teen reading clubs, technology, and cultural programs.
