Come experience the joy of reading! All children are welcome to drop in and hear a story with STAR volunteer Insiya in the children's area. Those who attend three sessions will be given a book as a gift.

You are welcome to call the branch on Tuesdays to confirm the STAR reader will be here.

Join a “Friends” group. There is a “Friends of the Library” group for most branch libraries and departments of the Central Library. Join the Library Foundation of Los Angeles. The Library Foundation is a non-profit organization that raises funds for Library enhancement programs such as adult and early literacy, children and teen reading clubs, technology, and cultural programs.
