Uchechi Kalu is a Nigerian-American writer and financial planner based in Los Angeles. Having lived and worked on six continents, her poetry and nonfiction explores the African diasporic experience.
Jorrell Watkins: his debut full-length collection, PlayHouse: Poems, was recently published by Northwestern University Press. Currently, he lives in LA and is pursuing a PhD in Creative Writing & Literature at USC.
Amanda Choo Quan is a Trinidadian-Jamaican writer based in LA. She is currently a PhD candidate in USC’s Creative Writing Programme. She has been published in Harper’s, NYLON, Teen Vogue, the UN Refugee Agency, and others, and has attended Callaloo, Cropper, Juniper, and Marble House residencies.
