Whether you're curious about transforming your lawn, starting a garden for the first time, or deepening your knowledge of sustainable landscaping, this workshop is for you!

What to Expect:

  • Learn the benefits of native gardens, including how they support local wildlife, conserve water, reduce maintenance, and promote overall environmental health
  • Explore the mental and physical health benefits of having a personal or community garden
  • Get practical guidance on how to get started—from choosing plants to planning your space
  • Experience native plants up close—touch, smell, and taste a variety of species
  • Receive free seeds to take home and help spread native flora throughout your neighborhood
  • Learn about the "Cash for Grass" lawn rebate program and how you can earn money by replacing your turf with native landscaping
  • Bring your questions! We're happy to offer personalized advice based on your space and goals
