Description:
Fifth Friday is a group of musicians who also dance. They have been playing for dancers for more than 20 years.
For their third appearance at the Eagle Rock Library, the Fifth Friday band expands its world musical tour with tunes from Armenia, Turkey, and Greece. The instrumental and vocal styles of these countries – geographically located at the intersection of the Byzantine and Ottoman empires – present profound similarities, as well as great diversity. This is indeed Music Without Borders.
