Description:

Come enjoy a family-friendly hands-on pickling workshop in our Meeting Room, and learn the basic concepts of fermentation and vinegar pickling for the home kitchen. Each registered attendee will prepare and take home a jar of delicious pickled vegetables. Los Angeles-based Chinese American fermented food advocate and instructor Jessica Wang brings extra pickling tips and insight drawn from her family's diasporic Chinese culinary heritage.

All materials, ingredients, and tools are provided. This program is intended for children ages 5+.
