Description:

Join us for a three-part series on coding! Led by a computer science teacher, this series will introduce kids to text-based coding to create graphics and animation. This program is intended for children ages 8 and older.

Each session in this series will build on the last, so please plan to attend all sessions.

Materials will be provided, or you are welcome to bring your own device if you prefer. Anything with a keyboard and access to Wi-Fi and Google Chrome will work, such as a laptop or Chromebook.

Join a “Friends” group. There is a “Friends of the Library” group for most branch libraries and departments of the Central Library. Join the Library Foundation of Los Angeles. The Library Foundation is a non-profit organization that raises funds for Library enhancement programs such as adult and early literacy, children and teen reading clubs, technology, and cultural programs.
