Description:

Learn the science behind fermented foods and understand why cultures have been fermenting for centuries. This hands-on class will focus on kombucha and sourdough bread. We will prepare these delicacies and discuss the health and nutritional benefits of fermented foods. There will also be a tasting and recipe to try at home. Presented by Growing Together Education. This event is part of the LA BioBlitz Challenge.
