Description:

The Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk is hosting community workshops to share updates on the updated Election Administration Plan (EAP) and gather input from the community.

What is the Election Administration Plan?

The Election Administration Plan (EAP) outlines how Los Angeles County conducts elections under the California Voter’s Choice Act. It explains how voting options are expanded, accessible, and secure—allowing all voters to participate in a way that works best for them.

The plan also describes how voting locations are identified and selected, as well as how L.A. County carries out voter education and outreach efforts to ensure that every community has the information and resources needed to participate.

The EAP is updated regularly and shaped by input from community members, advocacy groups, and election experts.

Why It Matters

Your feedback helps ensure that elections in L.A. County are:

  • Accessible—for voters of all abilities and language needs.
  • Convenient—with more ways and more days to vote.
  • Transparent—providing details on how ballots are issued, returned, and counted.
  • Community-Driven—developed with public input through hearings and comments.
