Join us as Griffith Observatory telescope operator Casey Cooper provides an accessible introduction to astronomy, sharing how the historic art of stargazing can kindle scientific curiosity and inspire a personal connection to the night sky.

Whether you’d like to be a backyard hobbyist or professional, Casey equips you with the foundational skills, resources, and motivation to become an astronomer today!

The program will also feature live telescope observation of the sun (weather permitting).
