Description:
Pianist Xiao Chen has taught at Mount St. Mary's University, served as a lecturer at UCLA, and is currently Music Director at the Irvine Conservatory of Music. In her program All American, she showcases a diverse range of American composers, featuring works by iconic figures such as Gershwin and Joplin, alongside Amy Beach, Lowell Liebermann, William Bolcom, Richard Danielpour, and Florence Price. All Saturday concerts are held in the reading room of the Westwood Library while the library is open to the public.
