The highly acclaimed Webern Quartet, violinists Benjamin Hoffman and Chiai Tajima, violist Alex Granger, and cellist Stella Cho, presents Haydn & Beethoven: The Late Quartets. On the program is the beloved Haydn String Quartet in B-flat major, Op. 76, No. 4 ("Sunrise"), and the grand Beethoven String Quartet No. 13 in B-flat major, Op. 130, both of which were in the last complete set of string quartets by these two masters. All Saturday concerts are held in the reading room of the Westwood Library while the library is open to the public.
