Astronomy is for everyone. This program features an engaging PowerPoint presentation on the cultural art of stargazing and three backyard viewing targets in the Los Angeles night sky, followed by a live telescope viewing of the sun.

The presentation encourages the hobby of backyard observational science and promotes curiosity as a central tenet of the learning process. Star chart handouts, research guides, and coloring pages will be provided.
