Join DTLA Proud for a groundbreaking panel conversation titled: Building the Next Decade. This discussion brings together the architects of downtown LA's official LGBTQ+ community to trace its remarkable 10-year journey from a grassroots festival to a citywide force for economic recovery, public safety, and queer empowerment. Discover the untold stories, pivotal decisions, and community ethos that shaped a decade of impact, and be part of the discussion on what comes next for Los Angeles.

Tomás Mier: Pop & Latin Music Journalist (formerly with Rolling Stone, LA Times, and People). Tomás recently resigned from Rolling Stone to pursue full time independent content based journalism.

Marissa Ruiz: DTLA Proud Festival Attendee turned Lead Organizer for Sapphic and Advocacy programming, and DTLA Resident and DTLA Proud Lead Organizer.

Ricardo Sebastián: DTLA Proud Lead Organizer for Public Safety and Economic Recovery, Founding Board Member of DTLA RA, Voting Member of LGBTQ+ Chamber of Commerce x Legislative Committee, and DTLA Resident.

Scottie Jeanette Madden: Former DTLA Proud Board Member, Executive Producer and Director Proud in a Pandemic (DTLA Proud's 2020 virtual festival documentary), and International Advocacy Director at FLUX AFH.

Shannoah Green: DTLA Proud Ally and Advocate, Commercial Property Strategist and Consultant at Shops 4th&Main.
