Description:

Join Music to the Ears and Academix for this presentation that supports adults looking to upskill, reskill, or explore creative work for personal or professional growth. Participants will learn about practical digital media tools in the Octavia Lab, content creation strategies, and pathways for freelance, entrepreneurial, or career-track opportunities in the creative economy. No prior experience required.

MUSIC to the Ears Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization serving in-school and out-of-school youth and young adults. Our mission is to eliminate all barriers to creative and economic opportunities by providing specialized education, career training, and mentoring programs.

The Octavia Lab is a do-it-yourself maker space located inside the Los Angeles Public Library's historic Central Library.
