Protesting is an important way for people all over the world to communicate their opinions and create change in their communities. Showing up is great, but having the perfect sign amplifies your ideas and makes a statement.

Join the Teens Leading Change/Teen Council for some protest sign inspiration and the materials you need to make the best sign for your next protest.

Join a “Friends” group. There is a “Friends of the Library” group for most branch libraries and departments of the Central Library. Join the Library Foundation of Los Angeles. The Library Foundation is a non-profit organization that raises funds for Library enhancement programs such as adult and early literacy, children and teen reading clubs, technology, and cultural programs.
