Description:

BARK (Beach Animals Reading with Kids) is an all-volunteer program that encourages children to increase their reading skills and self-confidence by reading aloud to certified therapy dogs. Sometimes, kids find it intimidating to read in front of others, but they love to read to the non-judgmental, calming dogs!

Join the Library Foundation of Los Angeles. The Library Foundation is a non-profit organization that raises funds for Library enhancement programs such as adult and early literacy, children and teen reading clubs, technology, and cultural programs.
