Description:

In celebration of the 2024 LA BioBlitz Challenge, join Chef Jess Wang for a demo in preparing hand rolled sticky rice dumplings! Learn about the symbolic significance of these delicious dumplings, and see how seasonal fruit and veggies are used in making QQ pearl dumplings! The cooking demo will include a hands-on activity and will be followed by a tasting. This is a gluten-free and vegan friendly event for children and their families. Suggested for ages 4 and up.

The Library Foundation is a non-profit organization that raises funds for Library enhancement programs such as adult and early literacy, children and teen reading clubs, technology, and cultural programs.
