Book banning has been a recurring issue throughout history, and there has been a recent surge in attempts to remove books from libraries and school curriculums. This trend raises concerns about free speech, access to information, and the role of libraries in our communities. The most important thing we can do is to inform ourselves about the situation. Leslie Criswell, a retired trial attorney, will give us an overview and updates on our country's current widespread book-banning efforts.
