Teens! Join us for a teen-led workshop on Financial Literacy and take control of your financial future.

The Wallet Wisdom workshop is designed by teens for teens. Palms-Rancho Park Library’s Teens Leading Change team has developed an interactive workshop answering the most common questions teens have about money.

What to Expect from this Workshop:

Learn about financial literacy topics like bank accounts, interest, credit, taxes, and more.
An introduction to simple, straightforward budgeting tips that teens can use.
Earn community service hours for attending.
Giveaways and a chance to win a $25 Amazon gift card.

Join a “Friends” group. There is a “Friends of the Library” group for most branch libraries and departments of the Central Library. Join the Library Foundation of Los Angeles. The Library Foundation is a non-profit organization that raises funds for Library enhancement programs such as adult and early literacy, children and teen reading clubs, technology, and cultural programs.
