Description:

Want to learn a new instrument and have fun at the same time? Join us for our beginner ukulele workshop!  Fred Sokolow, multi-string performer and recording artist, will cover the basics of chords, strumming patterns, and popular songs. No experience necessary!  Bring your own ukulele (if you have one) or borrow one during class.

Join a “Friends” group. There is a “Friends of the Library” group for most branch libraries and departments of the Central Library. Join the Library Foundation of Los Angeles. The Library Foundation is a non-profit organization that raises funds for Library enhancement programs such as adult and early literacy, children and teen reading clubs, technology, and cultural programs.
