Description:

Join us at our next in person meeting of the Studio City Teen Council.

Teen Council is an opportunity for tweens and teens ages 11-19 in grades 6-12 to meet new people and gain valuable skills such as leadership, critical thinking, collaboration and civic engagement. Work with your Young Adult Librarian and your peers to:

• Suggest new books for the YA collection.
• Suggest and plan library programs.
• Contribute to scientific knowledge with the Neighborhood Science program.
• Implement a Teens Leading Change project (for those 14+).
• Earn community service hours (minimum of 20 hours required).
