Description:

Are you between the ages of 11-18 and interested in STEM? Join us for thirty minute meetings on the third Wednesday of the month to share our STEM activities and goals. Our current STEM group members are earning their HAM radio licenses for use in emergency communications, coding programs, data tracking, balloon launching, space messaging and robotics. What is your STEM interest and how does it set you apart in the college and career department? Bond, learn, chat and grow with other STEM-interested teens.

Join a “Friends” group. There is a “Friends of the Library” group for most branch libraries and departments of the Central Library. Join the Library Foundation of Los Angeles. The Library Foundation is a non-profit organization that raises funds for Library enhancement programs such as adult and early literacy, children and teen reading clubs, technology, and cultural programs.
