Description:

A local Young Ambassador will share the book Spanish Is the Language of My Family by Michael Genhart, a captivating tale about family, cultural pride, and a spelling bee victory; this will be followed by a hands-on activity designed by the Smithsonian Latino Center. Intended for children ages 4-11.

The Library Foundation is a non-profit organization that raises funds for Library enhancement programs such as adult and early literacy, children and teen reading clubs, technology, and cultural programs.
