Description:

We write to prompts to spark creativity, share stories and build community. We write to surprise ourselves and discover the bounty of stories that lie within.

Seniors come together and write, choose to share (or not, you decide), listen and write some more.

In later groups, we will draft stories and workshop them.

Creativity and community in a non-judgmental environment.

Please be sure to arrive a couple of minutes early to get settled so we can get started promptly at 1 p.m.

Note book–nothing fancy
Pen
If you prefer to use a computer, feel free to bring your personal device with you.

Join a “Friends” group. There is a “Friends of the Library” group for most branch libraries and departments of the Central Library. Join the Library Foundation of Los Angeles. The Library Foundation is a non-profit organization that raises funds for Library enhancement programs such as adult and early literacy, children and teen reading clubs, technology, and cultural programs.
