Description:

Join us for a colorful afternoon of rock painting! Use acrylic markers and your imagination to turn ordinary rocks into mini masterpieces. Whether you decorate with uplifting messages, animals, patterns, or funky designs, your creation is sure to make someone smile.

Painted rocks can be taken home, donated to our community garden, gifted to a friend, or left around town to brighten someone’s day! Recommended for ages 5-18.

Join a “Friends” group. There is a “Friends of the Library” group for most branch libraries and departments of the Central Library. Join the Library Foundation of Los Angeles. The Library Foundation is a non-profit organization that raises funds for Library enhancement programs such as adult and early literacy, children and teen reading clubs, technology, and cultural programs.
