Create a beautiful decorative plate to give to someone special. Instructor Amy Muscoplat shows you easy ways to paint and make the keepsake, which you can take home to bake and set. Everyone completes a memento plate that they can then gift to a loved one or keep as a memory to mark a special occasion.

Join a “Friends” group. There is a “Friends of the Library” group for most branch libraries and departments of the Central Library. Join the Library Foundation of Los Angeles. The Library Foundation is a non-profit organization that raises funds for Library enhancement programs such as adult and early literacy, children and teen reading clubs, technology, and cultural programs.
