Join musicologist and Connects affiliated scholar Dr. Tiffany Kuo for a lecture exploring the history of Spanish-language opera, providing musical and historical context for LA Opera's upcoming Spanish language opera Ainadamar. This Flamenco inspired opera tells the story of poet and playwright Federico García Lorca. Discover how this contemporary Spanish-language opera blends flamenco and folk musical styles to tell a story of dictators and poets.
