Join us for an exciting program celebrating LA Nature Quest 2025 led by Gisa Nico. Listen to the story Fish in the Desert: The Untold Story of the Death Valley Pupfish and learn about the diversity of America's national parks and their role in preserving natural habitat and wildlife. Create a Mini National Park using craft materials.

This program is generously funded by the Library Foundation of Los Angeles.

Join a “Friends” group. There is a “Friends of the Library” group for most branch libraries and departments of the Central Library. Join the Library Foundation of Los Angeles. The Library Foundation is a non-profit organization that raises funds for Library enhancement programs such as adult and early literacy, children and teen reading clubs, technology, and cultural programs.
