Description:

How can innovation and invention help us manifest the future we want? Artist and educator Taty Hernandez will guide you through an introduction of Indigenous Futurism to (re)imagine and dream up new worlds. Participants will work hands-on with clay to tell a story through clay sculptures. Take home a small sculpture of your own making.

This event is part of the No Prior Art program series which celebrates invention and innovation. No Prior Art runs from September 2024 to May 2025 and will result in 50+ programs across 22 participating branch locations. To learn more, please visit lapl.org/nopriorart.
