Come join us as we launch the From My Family to Yours cookbook. We will take you through the journey of how this cookbook originated by way of older adults sharing a seat at the table with youth and submitting traditional family recipes to create this intergenerational multicultural cookbook. This cookbook was created in partnership between the City of Los Angeles Department of Aging, The Alliance for a Healthier Generation, and the Woodcraft Rangers. Copies are available to check out at all Los Angeles Public Library locations.

Join a “Friends” group. There is a “Friends of the Library” group for most branch libraries and departments of the Central Library. Join the Library Foundation of Los Angeles. The Library Foundation is a non-profit organization that raises funds for Library enhancement programs such as adult and early literacy, children and teen reading clubs, technology, and cultural programs.
